What it is
A game about chemical composition. You pick elements and their amounts in the Lab, crystallize the mix, and find out whether it matches a real mineral. Each discovery joins your collection.
What it does
- Twenty real minerals to discover, grouped into worlds that unlock as you go, with new elements unlocking along the way.
- A short lesson and a recall question for each mineral you discover.
- Hints when you are stuck, a daily challenge, and progress tracked with levels, streaks and achievements.
Privacy
No account and no backend. The game works fully offline, and your progress is stored on your device.
This describes the app as it is being built. The site's Privacy Policy covers Help Is Coming and this website only; this app will have its own privacy policy before it is released.
About the science
Mineral Lab uses a simplified geological model. Minerals do not generally form by mixing pure elements. The lab represents chemical composition and geological formation conditions.
