Independence
Roadly is an independent educational app and is not affiliated with the Texas Department of Public Safety or any government agency.
What it is
A study app for the passenger-car knowledge test, built around understanding why a rule exists. It covers six topics: road signs, intersections and right-of-way, speed rules, lane use and turning, parking, and safe driving decisions.
What it does
- A short setup: your state, license type, test date and explanation language.
- A five-question diagnostic to find a starting point.
- Mastery tracked per rule, and a readiness figure per topic and overall.
- A Home screen that recommends what to study next.
Honest about readiness and content
- Readiness is a study aid. It estimates how much of the content you have practiced and is never a promise of passing.
- Bundled questions are demonstration content until they are reviewed against authoritative Texas sources, and the app says so. They are not official test questions.
